Adam F. Dachman, DO, FACOS earned a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Carroll University.  Following his undergraduate education he became extensively involved in colo-rectal cancer research at the Northwest Institute for Medical Research in Chicago, IL.  After publishing articles with renowned medical scientist Dr. Leon Gershbein, Adam entered medical school at Des Moines University where he completed his doctoral degree in Osteopathic Medicine.  In 1990 he began a General Surgical Residency through Michigan State University training extensively in the Detroit, Michigan metropolitan area at Botsford General Hospital.  Arriving to Dodgeville in 1995, Adam has served as Chief of Surgical Services for the past 15 years.  He continues to refine services and protocols with his talented staff at Upland Hills Health.

Adam specializes in minimally invasive procedures designed to get you back to your life as soon as possible.  Adam understands the challenges patients and their families face when disease strikes.  Your comfort and safety are Adam's focus. 

In 2009, Adam became one of Wisconsin's leaders in Natural Orifice Surgery--no incisions!  Performing the first No Scar surgery ever performed in southwest Wisconsin.

Adam is board certified in General Surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery.  He has earned the title of Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons for services rendered to the community, to surgical education and to the surgical profession.  Adam is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, The Wisconsin Medical Society and The Iowa County Medical Society.
